We will be taking a break from researching buildings outside the Park Slope Historic District to publish some short articles about houses scheduled to appear in the 2009 Park Slope Civic Council House Tour. This year is the 50th anniversary of the House Tour, and rather than focus on one particular area of the Slope, houses from all over the neighborhood will be featured.
This year's House Tour is Sunday, May 17, from 12:00-5:00pm. The starting point is at the Poly Prep Lower School, Prospect Park West between 1st and 2nd Streets in Park Slope.
The Park Slope Civic Council returns all proceeds from the House Tour back to the community via its Grants Program. So, you can help your community by attending the House Tour!
